The Goethe-Institut is the official cultural institute of the Federal Republic of Germany. We promote the learning of the German language worldwide and encourage international cultural exchange.

Starting from 01.06.2024, the Goethe-Institut Nigeria is looking for a Driver/Messenger. The duration of the employment is limited to twelve months at first with the possibility of extension.
 

Duties & Responsibilities:

Taking care of official errands such as mail collection and delivery
Travelling with our official vehicle within Nigeria
Vehicle maintenance and renewal of vehicle documents
Recording of all trips into the vehicle logbook
Timely reporting of mechanical faults or accident to the Management
Assisting in the preparation for programmes and taking care of guests
Making purchases and performing other task as assigned by the Management

Your Profile:

Safe driving record preferably with an international organisation
Possession of a valid driving license
Fluency in English and any other Nigerian language
Nigerian nationality or work permit for Nigeria
Friendly personality
Willingness to work overtime and on weekends in return for time off from work
