Clara is accompanied by her father to a student concert. The ten-year-old girl slowly begins to understand that he has a drinking problem and that other people are confused by his appearance. Torn between a sense of shame and affection, Clara wants to leave the event as quickly as possible, and hopes that her father will not attract unwanted attention until then.
