The promotion and intensification of cultural exchange and dialogue between Germany and Türkiye, the opening up of new perspectives on German-Turkish relations and the support of the artistic development of creative artists from both countries are central aspects of the program of the Tarabya Cultural Academy. In addition, the residency provides a safe space for artistic creation in increasingly challenging times.

Applications that deal with the above-mentioned ideas and issues are explicitly encouraged.
