Kino for Kids is a specially curated program which takes place as part of the German Film Festival.

Give your students the wonderful opportunity to experience the latest children's and youth films from Germany.

The Flying Classroom

Martina lives in a Berlin high-rise housing estate and wins a scholarship to attend a prestigious boarding school in an idyllic Alpine town. Upon arrival, she instantly becomes embroiled in the rivalry between the boarders and the "day pupils" from the local village. Lassie - A New Adventure

While his parents set off for a holiday in Gran Canaria, Flo and Lassie go with family friend Gerhard to his aunt Cosima’s farm in South Tyrol. Cosima lives there with her foster children Kleo and Henri, and her Jack Russell Terrier Pippa. When Flo, Kleo and Henri hear about the mysterious disappearances of several dogs in the village, they are alarmed. But then there is a break-in at Aunt Cosima's house and Pippa is stolen! Together with Lassie, the three friends investigate and set out to catch the thieves and rescue Pippa. Action, Adventure, 91 min

Skater Girls - Get Up

While Juli passed her high school diploma with flying colors, her twin Alex failed. What they both have in common is their love of skateboarding, so after graduating from high school, a cool summer at the skate park lies ahead of them. Together with the daring Ewa and the complete skating newbie Nia, the four girls found the skate crew GetUp and are aiming to take part in a skating competition in Cologne together. If they win the competition, a shared Interrail trip and new boards would await them all! Comedy, 92 min

PRICES:
For groups of minimum 20 people the price is $14.00 per student or teacher, with one teacher free for every 20 students.

Bookings are essential. The films are subject to availability. Both films are available for a morning or afternoon session from Monday to Friday.
