EMPOWERING YOUNG PROFESSIONALS THROUGH INTERCULTURAL EXCHANGE
Friends of Goethe Australia

The Goethe-Institut promotes intercultural encounters around the globe. In Australia, it stimulates bilateral dialogue with Germany by promoting and initiating cultural and educational projects and by bringing experts and artists from Germany to Australia.

The Friends of Goethe Australia are committed to this goal of intercultural exchange. As a registered Australian not-for-profit organisation, the Friends complement the work of the Goethe-Institut by providing opportunities for young Australians to advance their careers in STEM, Music & Arts, Architecture & Design and to develop German language skills through scholarships, programs, events, activities, temporary work placements in Germany or other suitable initiatives.
