German Teacher
at the Goethe-Institut Melbourne

Would you like to teach at the Goethe-Institut Melbourne? 

RECRUITMENT REQUIREMENTS / TEACHER QUALIFICATION

If you

• have an Australian work permit or Australian citizenship
• have a subject-related university degree, preferably in German as a foreign language and/or German studies, possibly other foreign language philology
• be a native speaker of German or have native speaker competence in German,
• have GFL teaching experience, preferably in the adult sector
• are an enthusiastic and committed teacher

then you may be the person we are looking for.

INDUCTION / OBSERVATION PHASE

• Observation of at least four course meetings 
• Carrying out at least one trial teaching unit of 1 teaching unit each under the supervision of the supervising GI teacher (with pre- and post-lesson debriefing)
