Native Roots is an initiative to surface the unique cultural heritage of indigenous communities. This project evoked based on curiosity towards a meaningful approach to delve deeper into my enthusiasm for music and led me to Younguang Mro, a researcher and writer from the Mro community in Bandarban. Native Roots is adopting a collective effort to flow and ebb into tunes, rituals, vocals, lyrics, and their practices – and is inviting us To Listen.
