Chalan Beel is close to my grandmother’s home. I am well aware of that place and the people. Floating Dream comes Home. is a story of a village surrounded by water, disconnected and isolated from other parts of the world. I am focusing on a local initiative that came with a light of immense hope in the middle of many obstacles. Every year, one-third of Bangladesh experiences the floods of the monsoon season. This can prevent children living in flood-prone areas from accessing education.
If children cannot go to school due to the lack of transportation, then the schools should go to them.

Floating Dream comes Home. is a photography school initiative for children. We conducted different photography and printing workshops with interested children from the local community. They got cameras for taking photographs of their own surroundings, followed by a collaborative travel exhibition and a projection on a boat camera. An initiative to build a local photo community in the periphery.
