The screening of the film Un amour d‘été will be presented as part of the 3-week workshop Mont Réel, in the open air right on the construction site of the new mountain. The documentary was filmed in Montréal on Mont-Royal. Consistent with the project, the mountain is the central element of the film.
During summer everyone is in love, except for you. On the mountain, after the closing of the park, couples meet in the grass, their bodies come close during a late picnic, they see each other anew. You are passing by one group after another, from one new couple to the next, without tasting the fever yourself, without being able to embrace it. While you are trying to join the wonder, it slips away from you, judging you as a witness, as a simple viewer, almost jealous. You are not invited to this party.
Please bring your folding chairs - there are not enough seats for everyone at the site.
