Two happy families, a remote beach and a house in the hills above the Adriatic Sea. It could be so perfect.

Helena and Adam always spend their summer vacations with their son Finn at the same place at the same time, by the sea in southern Italy. Always accompanied by their old friends Ellie and Matti and their son Luca. But at the end of a particularly hot day at the beach, Finn collapses on the way back to the car and is briefly unconscious. The incident, which is actually quite harmless in terms of health, is enough to shake the facade of this seemingly well-functioning vacation community.
