Zazie, who is in her mid-twenties, still feels far too young for a firm commitment. In her opinion, no one needs “true love”. Her two best friends and flatmates are similarly incapable of relationships: Anton is far too "head in the clouds" for a lasting partnership, and Patrick fancies himself as an irresistible ladies' man. Philipp, Zazie's closest friend from childhood, is a completely different story: he's getting married soon and naturally invites Zazie to the party. Zazie is completely flabbergasted by the news, not least because of the bride Franziska. Zazie also knows her from before - and she is firmly convinced that she is not the right one for Philipp.
Zazie decides to prevent the marriage at all costs and stop Philipp from “making the biggest mistake of his life”. But her attempts to sabotage the wedding fail miserably - and repeatedly! A love story of a different kind involves Zazie in a never-ending wedding waltz that not only turns her attitude to love completely upside down.
