Call for Applications: Cultural projects manager
The Goethe-lnstitut Kamerun is looking for a manager in the cultural program department from June 1st, 2024 to May 30th 2025 with renewal option.
The Goethe-lnstitut is the cultural institute of the Federal Republic of Germany, operating worldwide. It promotes knowledge of the German language abroad, fosters international cultural cooperation and conveys a global image of Germany by providing information on cultural, social and political life in Germany.
Job description
- Collaboration to the organization of the projects Goethe-Decouverte, 10 Days for one Film and Mobiarts, as well as providing logistical and organizational support for other projects
- Collaboration in public relations and communication on social media
- Collaboration in administrative and accounting management: commitment of expenses, payment of suppliers, awarding of contracts, etc.
- Monitoring, evaluation and reporting
- At least a Bachelor's degree (BAC + 3) in project management, or in a cultural field, or proof of several years' professional experience in the fields of art and culture
- Experience in project management in the cultural field
- Have a very good knowledge of French and English; knowledge of German would be an advantage
- Computer skills (MS-Teams, Excel, World, PowerPoint etc.)
- willingness to adapt to the Goethe-lnstitut software system
- Excellent communication skills
- Have very good intercultural and social skills
- Willingness to work in a team
- Be flexible and able to cope with heavy workloads
