Should I stay or should I go? is the name of a song by Feine Sahne Fischfilet, which is one of the most successful German punk bands. The question hits the mark for several generations of former GDR citizens. Jan "Monchi" Gorkow, who is the heart of the band, turns away from the radical football fan scene and becomes a musical figurehead against growing right-wing extremism. "Wild Heart" beats in an angry, thirty-year old man who is physically overweight and emotionally burdened and who then finds his power and strength in fighting against modern-day fascism.
