A Virtual Exhibition on Sustainable Urban Mobility

Bike, Art, City: A Virtual Exhibition on Sustainable Urban Mobility is an exhibition offering new perspectives on bicycle cultures and communities.

The exhibition showcases the work of five artists:
  • Chelsea Kim
  • Irène Mélix
  • Jana De Troyer
  • Nora Tormann
  • Yeon Sung
These artists took part in the CYCLE UP! sustainable residency programme in the summer of 2024. Now, the artists come together in a virtual exhibition on the GoetheVRsum platform, a virtual 3D environment to experience events.

The online exhibition brings the work created by the artists and invites audiences worldwide to experience an immersive, virtual exploration of what a bike-centred urban life could look like. The exhibition runs from December 2-9 and includes opportunities to meet the artists and attend virtual talks and tours. Read more about the GoetheVRsum: goethe.de/goethevrsum.

CYCLE UP! is co-funded by the European Union and includes the following partners; BoMiasto, Czech Centres, Goethe-Institut, Czechia, PUNKT, Tartu 2024, and the City of Tartu. Read more about the project here: www.cycleup.info
