Health and Climate Change
Highly invested in topics revolving around mental health, it is important to me to make the voices of individuals and their personal stories heard in news coverage. I am however especially interested in environmental issues and climate change. In Lebanon, the effects of climate change, such as frequent wildfires, rising temperatures, water scarcity, and food insecurity, have been added to the list of countless other economic and political crises. The impact of climate change is felt by all parts of Lebanese society and threatens whole ecosystems, which include all wildlife and its diversity. My article addresses specifically the consequences of wildfires in Lebanon.
