The Workshop will take place in preparation of the Goethe-Exhibition “Think Global – Build Social” which will be shown from 02.02. – 03.03.2017 at the Modern Art Museum: Gebre Kristos Desta Center.
Architectures for a Better World explore the theme of social responsibility in contemporary architechture. Think Global – Build Social! showcases 15 current examples of an alternative approach to architecture – socially responsible practices that require greater personal initiative and creativity to develop low-cost architectural solutions that will improve living conditions for people in less privileged parts of the world. Conceived jointly by the Architekturzentrum Wien and the Deutsches Architekturmuseum.
The aim of the Workshop is to develop an Ethiopian edition of the exhibition “Think Global – Build Social” which will be shown at the Goethe-Institut from 02.02. – 03.03.2017. The Workshop will be run by Prof. Andres Lepik, director Architekturmuseum Munich, Germany and Bisrat Kifle, EiABC. Participants will be students from EiABC.
