Christoph Ribbat
(born: 1968), Expert on American Culture
Christoph Ribbat studied English and History in Bochum, followed by a doctorate and post-doctoral qualification. He is a Professor of American Studies at the University of Paderborn. In 1996 he published his first non-fiction book Religiöse Erregung – protestantische Schwärmer im Kaiserreich. In 2016 his book In the Restaurant: Society in Four Courses was nominated for the Leipzig Book Fair Prize.
