International Conference of Teachers of German 2025 in Lübeck

Present and receive a grant

The Goethe-Institut London is delighted to announce that it will be awarding a fixed amount scholarship to German teachers to attend the IDT 2025. We are looking for teachers who are interested in presenting to fellow German teachers from around the world on an aspect of their own teaching.

To be considered for one of our fixed amount scholarships you will need to submit an abstract on your chosen topic, as well as complete the application form. Please see below for topic areas that will be given special consideration.

Thank you for your interest!

The application deadline has ended now, unfortunately. But not to worry, there is more: Please have a look at all our grants and scholarships for teachers in the UK.

Further information

The fixed amount scholarship is the equivalent of 1,800 Euros. This scholarship is intended to go towards the participation fee, travel costs, accommodation and meals, but please note that this may not cover the total cost of participating in this conference.

This is how we'll continue ...

  • You will not hear whether you have been successful or not in receiving a scholarship until November 2024 at the earliest.
  • Double funding is not possible. If you already receive funding from another institution, you cannot apply for a Goethe-Institut scholarship.
  • Should you be successful in being awarded a scholarship you will have to take care of all your bookings, including your flights and hotel. You will receive the fixed scholarship sum after the conference has taken place.
