“The House by the Lake - The story of a House and 100 years of history"
Author: Thomas Harding
Illustrations: by Britta Teckentrup

The beautifully illustrated picture book is an adaption of Thomas Harding’s biography The House by the lake aimed at adults. The book aimed at children reads like a haunting fairy tale. It tells the story of a house at the outskirts of Berlin which has witnessed happy and not-so-happy times until it was discovered and rescued by the author.

The workshop with Thomas Harding centres around families, living situations, home and vocabulary and emotions attached with this subject.
