In this webinar we will be exploring principled practice for effective language teaching, learning from what works. We will foreground evidence-based pedagogy and lessons from research, including recommendations from the Modern Foreign Languages Pedagogy Review by Sir Ian Bauckham 2016. Building on cognitive science we now know more about how children learn most successfully. Much of this knowledge and evidence comes from the teaching and learning of sciences. How do we apply 'best bets' to the teaching and learning of modern languages? Join us to explore the future direction of language learning.
