Professional Development for German Teachers
The teaching process is primarily characterised by the teacher, the learners and their interaction. This DLL unit focuses on the question of how interaction takes place and what learning effects it has. You will look at social processes and routines in the classroom and how you can manage them. The unit uses the skills of speaking and writing to show how interaction takes place in modern language teaching by means of tasks and exercises.
Unit 4 of the DLL series explores the following questions, among others:
- How can lessons be structured by differentiating between tasks and exercises?
- How can tasks from the textbook be usefully supplemented?
- How can projects be organised that encourage independent and creative work?
HOW AND WHERE?
Blended learning with:
- Continuous online phase on the Goethe-Institut learning platform and
- 4 x live online sessions, each lasting 90 to 120 minutes. The exact dates and times for the sessions will be decided together with you and the DLL trainers at the beginning of the course.
