The Goethe-Institut Glasgow offers free space for cultural practitioners and community groups in our building on Park Circus. We hope to welcome as many artists, makers and groups as possible, however, space is limited and available on an application basis. If you are seeking a room for rehearsing, working, writing, imagining, reading, thinking, planning or meeting please reach out to us.

The process is simple. Complete the short online form with your requested dates and tell us about how you plan to use the space and a little about yourself/your group. We will allocate a space to you where there is availability. Click here for more details about the spaces: Event Hall; Seminar Room G10; and the Outhouse, which can be used for example for meetings, rehearsals, performances, symposia, workshops.

We aim to respond to applications within a week but can sometimes need more time depending on other activity within our programme and building.

The building can be used during our regular opening hours. We are closed in the summer for the last week of July and the first week of August.

Please note that the spaces are not available for use for events open to the public; academic conferences can be considered. If you are interested in developing a public programme, please contact culture-glasgow@goethe.de instead.
