COORDINATOR (M/F/D) FOR EDUCATIONAL SERVICES

Goethe-Institut Glasgow is looking for a Coordinator for Educational Services, starting on
17 June 2024 (or later). The position is in 100 % full time (39 hours/week) and limited until
16 June 2025 with option for continuation.

We accept applications from German teachers for part-time positions at the Goethe-Institut London and Glasgow all year round. Please note that all teachers are required to hold the Grünes Diplom. The Goethe-Institut in London and Glasgow offer a continuing education program for this certification.

Grünes Diplom - Teach German at the Goethe-Institut

The Goethe-Instituts in the UK are looking for motivated candidates who are interested in becoming certified as an instructor of German as a foreign language (DaF – Deutsch als Fremdsprache). The Goethe-Institut is offering a continuing education program for this certification. The Grünes Diplom is the worldwide standardised qualification for German instructors at Goethe-Institut locations abroad.

St Olave’s Grammar School
Foreign Language Assistant (German)

St Olave’s Grammar School is looking for a Foreign Language Assistant (German) who is fluent in German, and knowledgeable of the requirements of the GCSE and A level speaking exams, or willing to learn, to further support our exceptional Modern Foreign Languages department. This is a part-time role, term time only, 34 paid weeks per year/27 actual working weeks. The number of hours will vary year-on-year to accommodate student numbers, but we would expect it to be in the region of approximately 15 to 20 taught lessons per fortnight.
