Annabelle Hirsch in conversation with Donna Moore

Join us and our friends at Glasgow Women's Library in shedding light on a neglected history as we invite Annabelle Hirsch to discuss her book  “A History of Women in 101 Objects” with GWL’s Donna Moore.

From a hunger strike medal to a bidet, the Amazon rainforest to the plantations of South Carolina, Simone de Beauvoir to Beyoncé, Hirsch’s book tells a story of women as never seen before. Don’t miss this opportunity to hear Hirsch expand upon her witty and illuminating work, translated into English last year by Eleanor Updegraff.
