Thomas Arslan takes us on a journey through Berlin as we follow a young woman's wanderings through a day of sunshine, encounters, and reflections.
21-year-old Deniz lives in Berlin and works as a dubbing artist. Deniz has high expectations of herself and of life - perhaps too high. In any case, she is not really happy in her relationship with her boyfriend Jan. On a beautiful summer's day, she meets Jan in a café after a dubbing job. Afterwards, she goes for a walk and breaks up with him. A little confused and disturbed by this step herself, Deniz wanders through summery Berlin for the rest of the day. She tries to figure out what she wants from life, what she is looking for. No matter who she meets or who she talks to, the topic of conversation is always love. She finally meets Diego in an underground station. The two spend the evening and night together. But the next morning, they part ways just as abruptly as they had crossed paths the day before. Deniz′ search continues.
