Tbilisi, October 2022, Batumi, May 2023
The workshops and conferences held in Tbilisi and Batumi aimed to convene cultural heritage professionals from the South Caucasus and the Republic of Moldova. The objective was to foster dialogue and exchange on the development of a modern monument register for the Early Bronze Age Kura-Araxes culture, widespread in the South Caucasus. The prototype of the register is carried out by the Eurasia Department of the German Archaeological Institute (Prof. Dr. Svend Hansen) and the Brandenburg State Office for Monument Preservation (Prof. Dr. Franz Schopper). The prototype will be presented in Chisinau in June, 2024.
