After the shy and reclusive Christian loses his job, he begins working at a wholesale market. Bruno from the Beverage aisle takes him under his wing, teaching him to operate the forklift and becoming a fatherly friend. In the aisles, Christian meets "Sweets"-Marion and is instantly captivated by her charm. They start to connect over coffee breaks, but Marion is married, and Christian's feelings remain unrequited, especially when she stops coming to work. Despite this, Christian slowly becomes part of the wholesale market family, finding new meaning in his routine of driving forklifts and stacking shelves.
