Vidya Pingle

Vidya Pingle, nee Bhat has been teaching German since 1989 at various institutions including the Max Mueller Bhavan Mumbai and Goethe Zentrum Hyderabad. She has also been certified by the University of Cambridge to teach English to non-native speakers. She has been in the field of translations and interpretations since many years – she has done both – literary and commercial transactions. She was part of the team for translating Daya Pawar’s autobiographical work “Balute” from Marathi into German. She has worked for more than 20 years in the Indian software industry – both in-house and on free-lance basis. Vidya has travelled abroad many times – for work and pleasure.
