Tektoniq Plates: Reminiscence Bump

Tektoniq Plates is a series of sound performances that are designed to document, anchor and musify our collective memories. Through electronic soundscaping and Arabic-spoken word poetry, the performance presents itself as a theatrical and immersive experience documenting and archiving the bittersweet narratives, memories, heartbreaks and dreams of the post-war generation in Lebanon. "Reminiscence Bump" is the second edition of the project, and it serves as a political and sonic attempt to memorialize the experiences of an otherwise forgotten and (forgetful) generation.
