Über den Autor:
Tendai Huchu wurde 1982 in Bindura, Simbabwe, geboren. Er studierte Bergbautechnik an der Universität in Harare und brach das Studium während des ersten Semesters ab. Anschließend hatte er verschiedene Anstellungen, unter anderem in einem Casino. Seit 2010 schreibt er Geschichten, die u.a. in Lightspeed, Interzone und AfroSF erschienen. Er ist der Gewinner des Nommo Award für afrikanische SF/F und stand auf der Shortlist für den Caine Prize und den Grand Prix de L'Imaginaire. Zwischen seinen Romanprojekten übersetzt er Belletristik aus dem Shona ins Englische und umgekehrt. Nach seinen Romanen "Der Friseur von Harare" und "Maestro, Magistrat, Mathematiker" (beide ersch. im Peter-Hammer-Verlag) gibt es neu von ihm die Edinburgh-Nights-Reihe im Penhaligon Verlag.
