Sam: Hello Illi, where are we going today?

Illi: Trans Day of Remembrance, TDOR is in November. Please join me at the TDOR vigil walk through downtown Munich.

Sam and Illi stand inmidst of people. Many hold candles and signs.

Sam is thinking: There are many great things about being queer and trans, but some are really hard.

Illi is thinking: On this day, we get together to mourn those who lost their lives due to anti-trans violence.

Sam: I am really grateful to Gwendolyn Ann Smith, the trans woman who founded TDOR in 1999. The first TDOR memorilised Rita Hester, a trans woman murdered in Massachusetts.

Illi: Sadly today, the violence continues.

Sam and Illi are walking with alongside many people. Lots of signs can be seen with pictures and names of people who lost their lives due to anti-trans violence. Later they seek a quiet bench in a park to mourn those who died.
