In the Blind Spot: Thriller, 2023, 118 minutes
A German film crew is in the north-east of Turkey to shoot a documentary film. They witness first-hand a ritual that a woman performs again and again to keep the memory of her missing son alive. The Kurdish translator Leyla (Aybi Era) is also the nanny of little Melek (Çagla Yurga). When the girl seems to be haunted by a mysterious force, her father Zafer (Ahmet Varli) sounds the alarm. He works for a questionable organisation and is torn between loyalty to his employer and fear for his family.
