Episode 3
Mischa instructs Dimitri to give Gorsky a tip-off. He shows him a warehouse in Westhafen which will be robbed by Sokolov and his men in two days’ time. Although Nico Roeber, the section leader of the State Investigation Bureau, barely knows Gorsky and Lottner, he believes the information provided by the two officers. On the night in question, the warehouse in Westhafen is surrounded by an armed response unit. The team from the State Investigation Bureau arrests five men during the raid; only the leader of the multi-ethnic gang – the capo Joska Bodrov – manages to escape while his men distract the police. Marek Gorsky, however, is able to catch a glimpse of the capo’s face during a shoot-out.
Andrej, who is the head of this criminal gang, and who gave the order for the robbery to take place, is livid. What was the point of him bribing the State Investigation Bureau officers Bernd Hollmann and Sabine Jaschke if they failed to warn him? He tells Hollmann and Jaschke to find out who tipped the State Investigation Bureau off about the planned warehouse robbery. If they don’t do as he asks, Hollmann knows his family will pay the price...
In the meantime, Stella pays a visit to Uncle Sascha, an old friend of the Gorsky family, to ask for advice. She senses that her marriage is on the rocks. She is no longer satisfied with simply being the beautiful woman at the side of the wealthy Russian and pretending not to know about his business dealings. Uncle Sascha urges Stella to support her husband, particularly now. He explains that Mischa would like to lead a legitimate life but is being targeted by another gang which is hankering for war.
