1. General Requirements:
Our regular/online courses are designed for adult learners. Participants must be at least 17 years of age and a proof of age should be furnished at the time of registration. However, for young learners the age should be 8 – 16 years.
2. Level Test:
Students with previous knowledge of German or course participants with a gap of more than six months since the last Goethe examination must take the placement test before registration. Placement in higher course levels depends on the result of the placement test. The fee for the placement test is 1000 Pkr.
3. Terms of Payment:
We only accept bank transfers, ATM transfers and direct deposits to our bank account.
Bank transfers can be made via e-banking. Transfers can also be made by a relative or friend of the candidate. (via an online banking portal)
ATM transmissions can be made from any ATM device.
For direct deposits, visit any Faysal Bank branch in your area and deposit cash into our bank account.

We do not accept cross cheques.
Please also mention your names at the time of payment.
If full payment is not received by the due date the participant loses the right to participate. Part payments are not accepted.
4. Course Fee:
The contractually binding fee is the fee stated in the price list at the time of application. Unless stated otherwise the books must be purchased separately.
5. Cancellation and Refunds (Courses):
In case of cancellation before five working days before the start of the course, the course fee will be refunded after deduction of an administration fee of 25% of the course fee.
In the event of cancellation within the last five working days before the start of the course, the course fee will be refunded after deduction of an administration fee amounting to 50% of the course fee.
Cancellations will not be accepted after the start of the course.
Cancellations must be submitted in writing, giving the necessary bank details, and refunds must be made within two months of the start of the course. No refunds will be given after this period. Should the Goethe-Institut cancel a course, the full course fee will be refunded.
6. Examination Fee:
The contractually binding examination fee is the fee stated in the price list at the time of application. Only those who have paid their examination fee in full are eligible to take the examination.
Course participants can take the central examination of the corresponding level as an internal candidate up to 6 months after the end of the course. However, this only applies if the Language Office has been informed in writing before the examination date that he/she will not take the examination.
7. Cancellation and Refunds (Examinations):
The fees are based on the current local fee regulations. Only those who have paid their examination fee in full at the time of registration can take the examination.
If an examination is not taken due to any reason, the examination fee will not be refunded nor be transferred to the next exam.
Should a participant be excluded from the examination (see section 12 of the examination guidelines of the Goethe Institute), the examination fee will not be refunded.
8. Course Participation Certificate:
Participants with minimum attendance of 75% are eligible to write the examination or are entitled to an “Attendance Certificate”.
9. Class Size:
Our courses have a minimum of 12 and a maximum of 20 students for levels A1 and A2 and a minimum of 12 and a maximum of 16 students for levels B1 to C1. If there are insufficient participants at the beginning of the course, the Goethe-Institut reserves the right to cancel or postpone the course. In this case, we offer participants the opportunity to change to another course or receive a full refund of the course fee.
The choice of course and the chosen time slot are binding. Changes are not possible.
10. Liability of the Goethe-Institut:
The liability of the Goethe-Institut and its staff is limited to intent and gross negligence. The Goethe-Institut is not liable for the failure of its services due to force majeure (e.g. riots, acts of war or terrorism, natural disasters, epidemics, pandemics, and all other circumstances beyond the control of the contracting parties).
Should such cases of exceptional circumstances or events occur, or should there be a change in existing circumstances or events due to factors beyond the control of the Goethe-Institut, the Institute reserves the right to make changes to the current course structure (e.g. in terms of time, methodology or format). If circumstances do not permit the above-mentioned changes, the Goethe-Institut will in this case withdraw the course without alternative offer and financial compensation.

It’s not allowed to reproduce the course materials, in any form (printing, photocopy, microfilm or another procedure) or to use electronic systems to duplicate or manipulate it, without the explicit permission. Use of the same (in the form of screenshots, photos, recordings, storage, distribution etc.) by the course participant or any other party beyond the scope of this course is prohibited and an infringement of existing copyright laws.
