You determine your learning pace. Your tutor will give you individual feedback during the course. You also have two to three live sessions in a virtual classroom with your tutor, depending on the level.

The online individual courses are offered by the Goethe-Institut head office in Munich.

You have the choice of levels A1 "Getting started with German" (for beginners without prior knowledge), "Food and Drink" (for beginners with some prior knowledge), and “At the restaurant“ (level A2). Let us convince you with original materials from our classes!

Here you will learn the times of the day, how to greet someone in German and how to introduce yourself.

Here you will learn words about food and drink and how to express quantities when out shopping.

Here you will learn how to order in the restaurant, how to ask for the bill and how to tip.

Online placement test
New students with previous knowledge of German and students whose last Goethe class was more than a year ago should take our free placement test prior to enrolment.
