As an alternative to studying, an Ausbildung or apprenticeship can be an attractive option for many school graduates from Thailand.

In dual or in-company training, theory and practice alternate. This means that you work in a training company and also attend vocational school.

Advantages of an apprenticeship

  • Practical experience
  • Financial compensation from the very beginning, which increases with each year of training
  • Entitlement to insurance and vacation
  • Good opportunities for subsequent employment

Popular professions for apprenticeship

  • Nurse specialist
  • Hotel specialist
  • Baker
  • IT specialist
  • Bank clerk
  • mechatronics technician
And much more!

“It is very important to learn German before coming to Germany. Of course, I also need a B1 certificate to even get the permit and visa. But it helps so much more to speak and understand well already upon arrival. Right at the beginning, I had to communicate with my new colleagues in German, understand documents, and even at the vocational school, they teach almost exclusively in German. That's where it's very helpful! After arrival, you don't have time to learn German at first.”

“Since I started learning German, I have never regretted it, because I believe that German will open many doors for everyone (no matter what age or gender). Especially for those who want to continue their education or training. Start now!”
