Core Theaters

With the help of project curators James C. Nicola, Kwame Kwei-Armah and Gillian Drake, a core network of flagship regional theaters with interests in new plays and political works was chosen to commission the US project playwrights. The theaters involved are based in Atlanta, Baltimore, New York, San Francisco and Seattle, and are among the most accomplished new play institutions in the country. Their writers represent a cross-section of American playwriting, and will reflect varied perspectives on privacy in America.

Presenting Theaters

We are happy to announce our initial group of additional theater partners which have agreed to present the plays and films across the United States sometime in January 2017-June 2018.
