The Goethe-Institut Washington is thrilled to present KINDER KONZERTS, family-focused concerts designed to introduce your little ones to the magic of German classical music. Join us for a fun-filled, relaxed concert where kids 0-6 years old can move, shake, and learn alongside professional musicians . This April, The Pixel Quartet will bring classical masterpieces to life, showcasing their string instruments and the emotions within the music—all in a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere perfect for little listeners and their grown-ups!

Frequently asked questions

Can I bring my lap baby?
Bitte! Of course! Just know that at some points the music and the audience may be a bit loud.

What about my older child(ren)?
Ja! They are welcome, too! We think young people 0-6 might learn the most from the concerts, but all are welcome. We ask that everyone under 18 be with a parent or guardian at all times, and no more than five children per grown up.

What will seating be like?
We will set up a rug, floor cushions, and concert seats for the audience. Of course, you can get up, move around, dance, or take a break at any time.

If I make a donation, where do my funds go?
These funds will go directly to artist fees and event supplies for future Kinder Konzerts.
