Unleash Your Creativity: Media Literacy Workshop for Young Creators
The Goethe-Institut Washington is offering a street art and storytelling workshop for young people ages 9-14 this Thanksgiving break. Each day of the workshop days can be booked individually, so your kids can join us for the days that fit your schedule!
Do you love telling stories and bringing creative ideas to the street? Would you like to express your own messages through street art and learn the basics of storytelling at the same time? Would you like to design posters in a group, develop statements and capture them in a short video presentation? And how about experiencing a street art adventure together with others and exploring the city in a creative way?
All of this is made possible by the "Storytelling and Street Art" workshop at the Goethe-Institut. The course promotes media skills ranging from digital creation to the responsible use of digital media as well as collaborative and participatory learning.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION
- Registrations will be recorded in the order that they are received. There is 15 spots available. After the registraion deadline you will be informed whether your child has been allocated a place.
- After registration, parents will receive a parental agreement. Only upon signing this parental agreement is the registration complete and participation in the course confirmed. Participation is free of charge but we encourage a donation to the Friends of Goethe-Institut. The suggested amount is 50 USD per workshop day. The different days can booked individually.
- No prior knowledge is required for the workshop. The working languages are German and English. Meals are not provided as part of the workshop; we kindly ask you to provide snacks and lunch. Filtered water is available at the Goethe-Institut.
