Bar owner Zinos is already close to bankruptcy as everything seems to turn out well. But will the good fortune remain on his side?

Zinos, owner of the shabby tavern „Soul Kitchen“, is cursed with bad luck: The health authorities want to close his shop, his girlfriend is moving to Shanghai, his criminal brother Illias urges him for help, and then Zinos hurts his back trying to move a dishwasher. Reluctantly, he must find somebody else for the kitchen and hires the eccentric cook Shayn. The new chef manages to drive away even the last loyal customers of “Soul Kitchen”. But miraculously, the restaurant soon becomes popular with a young crowd and it seems as if the closure can successfully be averted. Zinos entrusts the restaurant to his brother Illias and leaves to see his girlfriend in Shanghai – but a real estate broker is determined to ruin the business, and Illias is still used to solve problems in not entirely legal ways…
