Linda Mputa
Linda Mputa is an EC based independent filmmaker who has worked as a news producer, PR
Officer, political researcher and administrative officer. She is currently working on her first feature-length documentary based on childhood trauma and GBV.
Linda is also a community activist, dedicated to bringing meaningful transformation to people living in rural areas in areas including literacy, mental health awareness, gender-based harm, food consumption, environmental health and enterprise development. She is a founding director of Kaluni Media as well as the Agency for Solidarity Economy (Asé).
She holds a National Diploma in Journalism (WSU) as well as an Advanced Certificate in Public Administration (UFH) while pursuing a BA in International Relations through UNISA. Her pronouns are she/ her and hers.
