The Pusha Entrepreneurship Training Programme is an online pre-incubation training programme for township-based early-stage creative entrepreneurs. The programme uses a Business Toolkit as a resource in addition to the Systemic Entrepreneurship Activity Method (SEAM) approach in training entrepreneurs on how to start and run a creative business over a maximum of 28 days which include mentorship and resilience training.
The SEAM approach is built on six pillars of entrepreneurship: exploiting opportunities, effectuation, bricolage, business modelling, resource-based view and lastly, design thinking. The training is facilitated by
Entreprenerdy. Participants receive a resilience stipend to support their training and pitch for admission into eKasiLabs incubation programme, at the end of each training cohort.
One hundred and sixty creative entrepreneurs were trained between 2021 and 2022. This programme was developed and implemented in partnership with
eKasiLabs and the
Wot-If? Trust.
