Vinyl collectors gather for an all night celebration

Fly Machine Sessions and Globalize Yourself Stereo are collabors in the sound and events spaces who have come together to form Septober Energy.
An 8-hour 8 DJ all-night special style party inspired by vintage traditional South African music, black 70’s and 80’s club and dance culture, black consciousness, and black joy. Together the collectives invite seasoned vinyl selectors, DJs, collectors, listeners, writers, artists, and musicians to come and play a selection of their rarest and most obscure records. The night encourages musical experimentation and obscurity. A women’s day celebration paying homage to all women everywhere.
A visual representation of references, inspiration, and artwork presented in a limited 8-page zine compiled and printed by us and to be given to attendees.
