Veerappan Swaminathan
Veera is a serial social entrepreneur has a keen interest in addressing sustainability challenges through foresight methods, community development and technology. He holds a Masters’ degree in Intellectual Property Management and a Bachelors’ in Mechanical Engineering from the National University of Singapore.
He is currently working on digital readiness initiatives for marginalized groups and communities.
Sustainable Living Lab
The narrative for smart cities is currently dominated by Governments and large corporations. Among the groups that do not have a significant voice are small and family-owned businesses. This project focuses on them to strengthen their capacity to take a more active role in shaping the direction of smart city initiatives in their specific locales.
