The film answers the question: How did the game of soccer come to Germany? The story is based on the true figure of the teacher Konrad Koch, but artistic freedom is used to make an entertaining, easily understandable feature film. It is about educational methods, about friendship, class differences, about values such as team spirit, perseverance, tolerance and trust, which are always relevant.
Themes: Soccer, friendship, education, values, German Empire, progress
