The 14-year-old girls Nini and Jameelah have been best friends since their childhood. Jameelah came to Germany ten years ago with her mother as an asylum seeker from Iraq. But although her family is now threatened with deportation, she has other things on her mind: losing her virginity. As it's summer in Berlin and the school holidays are coming up, Nini and Jameelah are on the lookout for boys. But when the two friends witness a murder one night, the story takes a turn. Arguments and uncertainty endanger their long-standing friendship.
