For a brief period in the late 2000s, artist Judith Supine was active in New York with his brightly colored Wheat Pastilles. With a sickly green as the primary skin tone, the collages were largely figurative, but with a surrealist bent. A watchful thistle growing a head raises the question: Who is actually watching whom here? In Judith Supine's universe, everything makes perfect sense.
