15-year-old Quodrat lives on the streets of Kabul without a family or a roof over his head. He spends most of the day at the city's cinema, earning the money to live from cinema tickets and small goods he sells on the black market. In the cinema hall, Quodrat finds a place to dream. In his imagination, he becomes the hero of love and action films of the glamorous Bollywood era and loses himself in the magical world of screen stories. When Quodrat is caught one day by the city authorities, he has to leave behind everyday life on the streets forever. A new life and thus an exciting journey full of curiosity, fantasy and powerful doses of reality await him in Kabul's children's home, where he will say goodbye together with other teenagers to the last days of childhood.
