My favourite AI in culture project at the moment is… roam. I think that productivity tools like roam make possible again what Apple’s HyperCard in the 1980s and 1990s offered its users, the establishment and maintenance of highly individual databases to kind of organize their work (I don’t say: their life).
By 2030 I would like to have an AI app which… is able to offer links between my own database and others I wish to relate to which fit into my work flow and present me with sources and possible consequences I so far overlooked.
My worst AI nightmare is… an AI which pages its judgement for my own.
The future of AI needs… lots of dynamic, contextual, and ethical thinking.
