Magdalena Kaszuba

Magdalena Kaszuba was born in Bielawa, Poland in 1988 and grew up in Germany. She studied illustration under Anke Feuchtenberger at the Hamburg University of Applied Sciences and has drawn comics for Le Monde diplomatique, the Goethe-Institut China and “Böll.Thema” – the magazine of the Heinrich Böll Foundation, among others. In spring 2018, she published her debut Das leere Gefäß (The Empty Vessel) in the avant-verlag. She lives and works in Hamburg.
